Effective February 6, 2019, the County is transferring their permit fee structure from one in which the General Contractor and each subcontractor is requested to pay the respective permit fee, to a permit fee structure where all fees, building and subcontractor permit fees, are paid by the general contractor when the building permit is picked up.  The general contractor will also need to identify the subcontractor for each trade to assure that the sub-permits are issued to the correct firm. 

 

If the general contractor can identify the subcontractor, either at time of submitting for the permit, or when the permit is picked up, the subcontractors will be able to obtain the sub-permits on-line.
